Umber Modular Table Lamp | Interchangeable Shade Design

Modular table lamp with an interchangeable shade and two connector sizes for adaptable bedside, desk and ambient lighting. Lamp base, shade and connectors included; electrical components are not included.

Designed for spaces where lighting should adapt to the moment The Umber Modular Table Lamp is built for people who value flexibility in their lighting. Most table lamps are fixed in their design: the shade, the height, and the light quality are all predetermined. This lamp is different. It features a textured sculptural base with a removable shade and twist-lock connector system that allows you to adjust the configuration based on your needs. The internal cable channel keeps wiring tidy, and the modular design means you can swap components or adjust the setup without replacing the entire lamp. This is a lamp for people who want control over their ambient lighting. Whether you need focused task lighting for reading or softer diffused light for evening relaxation, the modular design allows you to adapt the lamp to the situation rather than working around a fixed configuration. Why most table lamps fall short Traditional table lamps are designed as complete, unchangeable objects. The shade is permanently attached, the height is fixed, and the light quality is determined by the manufacturer. If you want different lighting for different tasks, you need multiple lamps. If the shade gets damaged or you want to update the look, you replace the entire lamp. The result is inflexibility and waste. The Umber Modular Table Lamp is designed to solve these problems. The twist-lock connector allows you to remove and replace the shade easily, and the two included connector sizes (30mm and 40mm inner diameters) provide compatibility with different shade options. The textured sculptural base creates visual interest while the internal cable channel keeps wiring organized and out of sight. It is a lamp that adapts to your needs rather than forcing you to adapt to it. On a side table in a living room, the sculptural base creates visual interest even when the lamp is off. Design notes for modular lighting Modular design in lighting is about flexibility and longevity. Instead of replacing an entire lamp when you want to change the aesthetic or light quality, you replace or adjust individual components. The Umber Modular Table Lamp uses a twist-lock connector system that makes shade changes simple and secure, and the two included connector sizes provide compatibility with different shade options. The textured sculptural base is designed to remain visually interesting even when the shade is removed, which means the lamp maintains its presence as a decorative object regardless of configuration. The internal cable channel solves a common problem with modular lamps: visible wiring that disrupts the clean aesthetic. Choosing the right colour If you prefer a calm, minimal look, Matte White, Matte Beige, and Matte Grey integrate easily with light interiors and neutral palettes. For stronger visual presence, Matte Black and Matte Navy Blue create deliberate contrast and work well as accent pieces. Matte Terracotta adds warmth and pairs naturally with timber furniture and natural fibres, while Matte Teal Green offers a subtle accent that feels refined rather than bold. Choose a base colour that complements your existing decor and allows the lamp to enhance rather than dominate the space. Product only. Lamp base, shade, and connectors included. Electrical components (bulb, socket, cord, plug) NOT included. You must supply your own light socket and power cable.
