What's in the Set
The Bookcase & Bookshelves Set includes multiple shelf and bookcase pieces in varying sizes and configurations. Each piece is densely detailed — individual book spines, scroll tubes, small objects and curiosities fill every shelf. No two pieces are identical, and the variety of sizes means you can arrange them to fill space naturally, rather than repeating the same unit.
Pieces range from tall standalone bookcases to lower shelf units, giving you flexibility to build out interior rooms at different scales and configurations. The modular nature of the set means it works equally well in small rooms and large hall settings.
Material & Finish
Printed in matte grey — the only finish available. The matte surface gives the pieces a neutral stone-and-wood quality that sits naturally on the table without competing with painted miniatures for visual attention. This is the standard finish for all terrain pieces in our range.
Matte grey is also an excellent base for painters. The surface accepts standard acrylic model paints readily, and the recessed details — book spines, shelf edges, decorative objects — hold wash and ink beautifully. A simple brown wash over dry-brushed bone or cream will turn these pieces into convincing wooden bookshelves in under an hour.
Scale & Compatibility
Designed for 28mm scale tabletop gaming. These pieces are sized to sit naturally alongside standard 28mm miniatures and dungeon tile systems. They work equally well as standalone scatter terrain on open mats or placed inside modular dungeon tile sets.

A Note on Painting
These pieces are sold in matte grey and are ready to use straight from the packaging — no prep required. For painters, standard acrylic hobby paints work perfectly on the surface. A brown basecoat with dry-brushed tan or cream highlights, followed by a dark brown wash in the recesses, produces convincing wooden shelving. Books can be picked out individually in a variety of colours to add life and variety to the set.
Care & Storage
Store away from prolonged direct heat or sunlight, which can soften PLA over time. Pieces can be stored flat or upright — they are solid and durable under normal tabletop handling conditions.
