Scarred, battle-hardened, and radiating cold authority, the Bandit Lord is the kind of figure who silences a tavern the moment he enters. His heavy cloak hangs over battered plate armour, a longsword worn loose at his hip and a cruel sneer carved into every line of his face. At the table, he is the moment the players realise this roadside ambush has a mind behind it — and that mind has been waiting for them.
This is a Medium creature, supplied on a 25mm round base — occupying a single 1-inch grid square, he stands toe-to-toe with your party's fighters without dominating the board. Scaled to 28mm heroic scale and fully compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Pathfinder 1e & 2e, and all major tabletop RPG systems.
What you receive
One professionally produced resin miniature, cleaned and ready for basing and painting. The Bandit Lord is sculpted in a commanding, weight-forward stance — sword arm raised with intent, his free hand gripping the edge of his worn travelling cloak as though daring anyone to step closer. The figure arrives in its natural grey resin finish — prime and paint to your own colour scheme. All support marks have been carefully removed. Every figure is inspected before dispatch — any miniature that does not meet our standard is remade, not shipped.
Detail and quality
The Bandit Lord's armour tells the story of a man who has survived through cunning and ruthlessness rather than refinement — mismatched pauldrons, a dented breastplate with a crude repair weld across the sternum, and leather vambraces strapped tightly over chainmail sleeves. His longsword features a crossguard wrapped in age-darkened cord, with a notched blade that hints at hard use. The face is the sculpt's centrepiece: a heavy brow over narrowed eyes, a jaw-line scar running from cheekbone to chin, and lips pressed into a thin, contemptuous line. Folds in his cloak hang with natural weight, and the hem is ragged at the edges — every surface gives a painter somewhere specific to reward their attention.

Compatibility
Compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Pathfinder 1e & 2e, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Age of Sigmar, Frostgrave, and any system using 28–35mm scale figures. The Bandit Lord is a natural fit for ambush encounters on trade roads, as the final confrontation of a thieves-guild story arc, or as a recurring antagonist who escapes just often enough to become a campaign nemesis. Base: 25mm round base.
Painting tips
Start the armour with Vallejo Model Color German Grey or Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey, then wash heavily with Citadel Nuln Oil to settle into the dents and repair seams — this immediately reads as battered, lived-in steel. Dry-brush the raised edges of the breastplate with Citadel Ironbreaker followed by a whisper of Stormhost Silver to pick out the wear lines. The cloak rewards a deep basecoat of Citadel Rhinox Hide or Vallejo Chocolate Brown, washed with Agrax Earthshade and highlighted up through Mournfang Brown to Skrag Brown on the highest folds — keep the hem darker to suggest mud and road grime. For the face, Citadel Contrast Guilliman Flesh over a white prime gives a fast, workable skin tone; then glaze the scar with a thin mix of Carroburg Crimson to suggest old tissue before picking out the eyes in a cold grey. A final spot of Citadel Spiritstone Red on a single ring or belt buckle gives the figure one deliberate point of colour that reads instantly across the table.
Care
Resin miniatures are more brittle than plastic — handle with care, particularly on thin parts such as the sword blade tip, the trailing edge of the cloak, and the strapping detail on the vambraces. Store away from direct sunlight. Super glue bonds resin effectively if a part breaks.
Primed or unprimed?
This miniature is available in two options. Unprimed arrives in its natural grey resin finish — apply your own spray or brush-on primer before painting for maximum adhesion, which is the preferred approach of most experienced painters and gives you full control over primer colour and texture. Primed arrives pre-primed in a smooth flat grey, saving you a step and ready for base coats straight from the box. Both options are produced fresh to your order and ship from Ballarat, Victoria, Australia within 5–7 business days. Select your preference above.
Supplied unpainted. Images show the design and sculpt. Painted examples are for reference only.
